Introducing Voltarol® Ophtha

  • Voltarol Ophtha contains 0.1% diclofenac in a single-dose, preservative-free eye drop formulation (Voltarol Ophtha Unit Dose) or preserved multidose formulation (Voltarol Ophtha Multidose)
  • Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with pronounced anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties1
  • Inhibition of prostaglandin biosynthesis is regarded as having an important bearing on its mechanism of action. Prostaglandins play a major role in the causation of inflammation and pain1

Indications for Voltarol Ophtha include treatment of post-operative inflammation in cataract surgery.1 Voltarol Ophtha has a wide spectrum of anti-inflammatory activity.2

How to use

Voltarol Ophtha eye drop solution is for instillation into the conjunctival sac only. It should never be injected subconjunctivally, nor should it be directly introduced into the anterior chamber of the eye.

For control of postoperative inflammation apply 1 drop 4 times daily for up to 28 days.

Multidose formulation should be used within 4 weeks of opening.
